A PAIR OF EGG YOLK YELLOW CARVED BEIJING GLASS VASES

Each vase is thickly blown and of slender baluster form with a short flaring neck and good weight. The carving depicts three types of flowering plants - prunus, magnolia and tree peony - amongst which birds are at rest on the branches, and in flight. The neck is plain - with the foot left as a simple band with a hatched design.
