A PAIR OF CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN DISHES
Yongzheng/Qianlong period
Circa 1740 AD
The matching dishes are painted in the well with
ladies on horse back; the figures ride through
a flower covered trellis arch - parading before
three officials on an open balcony. The border
incorporates six symbolic objects between a diaper
ground, and the reverse is plain.
